We're up to 8 and I'm going to wait until the end of this week, the package will be shipped on this Friday. I'll mention it on next week's show, as it will be on it's way.

Sweet, do you still plan on having a spot on the site for all the picture of the new and old things going in and out of the box as well as some type of map tracking system?

Still haven't got to 10 yet, huh? We know enough people listen to the show, are there any reasons for the lack of interest? Is someone worried it won't be worth it or that they can't think of what to part with?
What are we actually getting ourselves into? I mean are we just putting in stickers and pogs, or even part of a controller? Or are we actually putting something in that might be like a rotating gift basket – I'll put a game I have a duplicate in everyone else does the same and we all get over priced duplicates for $10 bucks or something similar. I have tons of duplicate games and maybe even some better stuff like controllers but I'd hate to see real junk being passed around. If the money is the problem could we ship a box parcel post instead?

However we send it let's make sure we get delivery confirmation.
As far as choosing what to part with let your conscience guide you based on what you take… like if you take a copy of mario / duck hunt who care but if you take a complete NES you may want to put something of similar value back in… Incidentally if anyone throws a Neo Geo in there dibs haha

I really don't know the reason why more people aren't into it, they may just be nervous about giving us their address. Maybe some more people will lighten up once it starts making it's round.
As for what goes in and what goes out, I'm not going to set any rules but Eric has the best advice for putting in something of the same value as you take out.
Personally I'm including stuff that collectors could use/want that I have duplicates of or that I don't need. What I'm not putting in is literal junk, everything works or is useful and I'm not worried about what happens to the stuff once I mail the package. I would hope, however, that if you take something, you put something in that is on par.
All that being said, if it's in there and you need it or might need/use it later then take it. I hope the box does not just collect more an more items with no one taking anything. Don't be afraid to take something if it's in the box even if you don't have something equally as cool to put in, but try to make an effort.

I have some nice stuff I will put in there. I won't be putting actual junk in there. I have some duplicate games, nintendo cards, maybe an 80's movie. all retro but all in good condition. If you think your gunna get stuff that's worth $10 you may be disappointed but if you want some cool retro things then you will be delighted.

Yeah, I am giving because my parents are going to throw all my stuff out. Honestly, I am still debating whether to send Jeromy an extra box or two to go along with the \"OG Retro Box\", cause I used to be prince of nintendo.

Mike has been slowly getting all the cool stuff and the Amiga and Mario Monopoly is only the stuff he's confessed too! Who knows how much other cool stuff he's gotten and then never told me. I'm sure there's more and he'll deny it.
