My wife had some painting around the house she wanted done today so I was happy to see a new Retrocast episode to keep me sane while I worked on it. Now that I'm done, and the episode is still fresh in my mind, I have a couple comments…
I had an NES Advantage way back when but it's long gone. I never got the SNES Advantage but have the ASCII Fighter Stick which is roughly the same. The craziest one I have though is this giant arcade stick for the SNES that I bought on clearance ages ago. Here's a picture to illustrate the enormousness of it:

Most durable system – possibly the Atari 7800. Here's why – years ago I was living in this apartment building which had a giant dumpster, I guess they all do. Anyway, one day I was taking out my trash and there was an Atari 7800 sitting on top of the lid. I guess someone was moving and didn't want to pack it but figured someone else would want it. It had been out in the rain but I decided to grab it and see if it worked. Sure enough, it survived and works perfectly to this day.
All the modem talk reminded me of just how cheap hardware is now. Here's what a modem in 1996 was going for:

You'll be able to get a low-end netbook for that price by the end of the year (if you can't already).
I hope the big pictures aren't a problem – enjoy your camping trip.

That's a monster of an arcade stick you've got there, hughes!
A couple years ago (I think), my brother picked up the NES and SNES Advantage sticks from Gamestop. We still have them, but the B button on the NES Advantage no longer works.
Here's a link to a pic of them that I uploaded, since I can't figure out how to get images to work on this forum.

By the way, I appreciate the sounds coming back! Thanks Jeromy & Mike!
I'm also looking forward to that video thing Mike mentioned. Are there anymore details about that?

It figures Hugues would have a huge joystick.
Man, I remember when modems were external and had to be plugged into a COM port. I thought 2400 baud was good enough until I tried 14.4 and then there was no going back!

I have all of the video ready. I have to do the voice over and make an intro.
I have music picked out for the intro but my skills at animation suck. I wanted to make an intro kinda like the one co-op uses. I even wrote some lyrics but since I cant sing I decided to just use music. iIf anyone thinks they can help with an intro drop me a pm and let me know what skills you have.
My goal is to have it ready to release this week some time.

I only like Rob Loew in Thank You For Smoking. Thank you.
Good Call on Gremlins/Goonies though.

hamburgers, fries and modems… at 39:36 you guys jumped back on topic so fast it gave me whiplash
Kicking a Nintendo down the stairs? Wow. When I was a teenager playing Goldeneye with a friend on my N64 we were really getting into it and I accidentally yanked my controller cord enough to pull the N64 down from off the TV. It was dangling by the power cable right in front of the screen, but the game was still going. In contrast I remember an old Sega Genesis that was so fragile when somebody jumped in the same room the Genesis reset while I was trying to play!
64:35 I'm sorry guys but I think its really funny when you get frustrated by big words. I almost cracked up when Jeromy was reading hugues' email and came to a dead stop at 'extemporaneous'.
69:16 I actually did laugh out loud imagining Jesus saying WtF?! about Bible Adventures. “Don't throw me you son-of-a-bitch!”

I'm impressed you figured out what the original word was – afterwards I realized that if you never took a public speaking class you probably didn't know it.

I'd appreciate it if in the future large words were broken down phonetically and some sort of syllabification applied as well.
I guess I could read the question before the show starts too.

My thoughts…ditto on the sounds coming back (keeps me from falling asleep)!
I have two older and one top loader NES. Neither of my old stylzs work well, I bought the top loader over a decade ago when replacement pins were nearly impossible to come by and it is certainly more reliable but after time even it won't start every time. I would put its reliability on clean game starts up there with the SNES. Overall, don't care for the look of the top loader (lots of questions from visitors like it is aChinese mall kiosk ripoff) nor do I care for the look of the dog bone controllers, although they are easier on my hands.
Never cared for the Advantage controllers, they have almost no use except in top down games like Pac Man or 1942/3. In those instances they are great, especially for the slow control.
