Hmmm, I'm surprised no one else has introduced themselves. Well if no one is tired of hearing me jabber on yet, then I might as well say hello here. I grew up in a small town Wisconsin and was a Nintendo fan boy in the Nintendo/Sega rivalry of the 1990's. I served in the US Army for a few years and now live in Utah, but I still like the old games I had as a kid.

Name: Robert Anderson
Place of residence: Provo, UT

Interests/hobbies: cheap and/or vintage video games, Star Trek, table-top RPG's, spouting advice and rambling on about my childhood memories

Knowledge is indivisible. When people grow wise in one direction, they are sure to make it easier for themselves to grow wise in other directions as well.

I totally missed this thread..

Real name everyone knows already ** you don't have permission to see this link ** I moved around a bit as a kid because my father was in the Army but eventually wound-up in the northern Chicago suburbs. Despite a strong desire to live elsewhere I never seem to get around it (my wife and I both have family here and the Chicago IT job market is still pretty good).

For lack of a better description – I manage a web development and server team today. I've been doing professional software development in one form or another since 1998. Prior to that ** you don't have permission to see this link ** store for a bit too long.

Obviously I'm a big fan of classic games, the period of ~1986-1996 is what I'm primarily interested in.

When I'm not listening to the Nintendo Retrocast I'm usually listening to old episodes of Loveline from ~1996-2005.

Hey guys, I'm Jordan, but if you like, you can call me Lee, I find it easier to use online due to it being half the length, but call me whatever you feel like.

I live on the north west coast of canada, About 40 miles south of alaska, being one of the younger posters on this site, I didn't grow up with the NES but with the SNES, But that d oesn;t make me love it any less, I am currently not attending any collages, but I will be training to become a journeyman joiner (cabinet maker) through out these next few years

** you don't have permission to see this link **

These are my two favorite projects I've made

My name is Nick and I live in hot and humid South Carolina.

I grew up in the Nintendo Age.  Actually saved my money and (with my sister) bought a R.O.B. NES in 87.  Saved money again and bought the SNES in 1991/1992.  I remember asking my Mom if I could hook it up in my bedroom and then asking why I was asking her since I bought it with my money….it wasn't till after graduation that it moved into my room.

I'm a banker and times are tough for us these days.  Just got married last year and it has taken a toll on my game purchases.  Once, my goal was to have every SNES US release in “MIB” condition.  I have not reached that goal, but I do have over 200 SNES games at present.

I am Bill, Twenty Seven Years Old. I live in: Richmond, Virginia. In my backyard is buried the only President of the Confederacy. I also have a balcony that overlooks the James River and Belle Isle, which was once used as a prison during the Civil War. The rapids around the island on that part of the James are substantial and cannot be easily traversed. I have also lived in the East Village, Wicker Park, Cathedral City, Greensboro, and Fairfax, Virginia where WJFK is now CBS Sports Radio The Fan.

Born for Nintendo, I found the EuroUnaVision of the Sega to be fascinating and yet not mine own. The console wars have stuck with me for longer than political ties could bind. My brother (Gavin) and I got into the Final Round of the Capcom Disney Afternoon Championship (it was a ruse to introduce TAILSPIN for the NES) by collecting an insane number of flowers in the time round on the original Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers. This was probably 1989 or 90 as my brother was only 6 or 7 at the time.

My brother is a true Gamer. With the dedication of an opiate junkie he sells off things in order to fund his ability to consume and check off the newest titles from his list. Although he is a PS3 hound, he still plays everything under the sun.

That \"My Brute\" nonsense isn't too bad.

As I have three brothers, N64 onward has been a godsend of multiplayer, as I never needed an internet connection to make Mario Party always enjoyable.

I currently am seeking to write articles that laud the glory of the Gamecube even though it was a failure in terms of sales. I have been reviewing past Nintendo Power issues, and must say I lose my mind for the stuff that was available. And the WalMart ads.

River City Ransom for Gameboy Advance? My new grail.

You know the scene from The 13th Warrior where Antonio Banderas started to understand what the Vikings were saying? That's how I just felt after reading the above post. Brucedickhamster is starting to make sence to me.
