The Retro Junk Box will be/was shipped on Friday July 10th making it's way around these United States.

If you submitted your address check below for your place in line and the following information will be helpful for you.

Shipping

The box we will be using is the ** you don't have permission to see this link ** and has a flat shipping rate of $10.35. The box will hold up to 70lbs and as long as the item fits into the box it is fair game.

Tracking Number

Tracking Numbers are not available for this package type according to the USPS, not even for an extra price :(

What to do when you get the box

Carefully open the box, since we'll be reusing the same box please take care not to destroy the box and when shipping try to not overly tape or secure the box.

It would be great if when you receive the box to come to these forums, make a post and include pictures of what was in the box when you received it. You don't have to include what you put in the box in the post so it'll be a suprise when the next person receives it.

Inside the box will be a printed sheet of paper with info about where to post the pictures, wether it's a special page here or a username/password for a flickr account.

What to do when you're ready to ship the box

When you're ready send an email ** you don't have permission to see this link ** and you'll receive an email with the next address. Inside the box are several Labels grab one and fill it out, place it over the old label. Make sure you put the old labels back in the box for the next people. Take the box to the post office, drop your $10.35 and add a reply to your original “I got the Box post” saying you shipped it.

List of participants and order of receipt

Jeromy, Maryland

Mike, Pennsylvania

Eric, Pennsylvania

Justin, Ohio

Hugues, Illionois

Colton, North Dakota

Rob, Utah

Doug, Texas

William, Virginia

Other Stuff

If more people decide to join after the box has been shipped they will be updated here. As it stands William in Virginia will get the box last and he'll ship it back to Jeromy in Maryland (me). Once I get the box again and no one else has requested to join the list, I'll post what's in the box and we'll decide together what to do with the contents.

More Info
If you cannot participant and you are on the list, let me know at ** you don't have permission to see this link ** as soon as possible so we can adjust the list.
The USPS says the box will reach it's destination in 2 days, out of courtsey, when you receive the box please have it packed and shipped within 7 days. If it gets delayed on your end for any reason, let us know so we don't get worried.
Worst case scenario
If the box gets lost, someone just straight up keeps the box or for whatever reason it doesn't make it to it's next destination there is nothing we can do. With this in mind, while I don't suspect this will happen, make sure whatever you put in the box you won't be pissed if disapears forever.
