Captain Lou Albano, who played Mario in the classic Super Mario Bros TV show, passed away today at the age of 76. Despite being a fan of both classic wrestling and The Gooonies, I'll always remember his Mario portrayal most. I don't think they could have cast a more suitable actor to fill the red overalls.
